We are looking for a Novice/intermediate Horticulturist. We provide landscape maintenance, restoration, and design services to a variety of clients. In this role, you will work closely with the Landscape Manager to assist in the day-to-day operations.

What you’ll accomplish:

• Assist with management of the landscaping subcontractor
• Patrol and inspect the work of the landscaping subcontractor
• Report writing and keeping a log of your daily duties
• Irrigation management
• One-on-one contact with homeowners
• Analysis of health and maintenance of the Florida Flora
• Suggestions to the Landscape Manager for improvements or changes in protocol

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or a related field (associate degree and relevant experience over 2 years may suffice)
• Certifications such as ASHS or CPH are a plus
• Experience with Florida Landscaping and working with Florida plants
• Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outside in inclement Florida conditions
• Ability to work long hours and weekends if needed
• Ability to lift 50 plus pounds and or have the weight on your back for extended periods
• Ability to operate a UTV (utility task vehicle)
• Precision eye for detail
