Maintenance Coordinator

Our Maintenance Coordinators help to maintain the overall cleanliness and aesthetic of the facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks.

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Ensuring and maintaining the cleanliness of the community facilities and grounds
  • Performing maintenance work to include; plumbing, electrical, minor carpentry, and general repairs
  • Cleaning in common areas
  • Assisting with lifestyle events including event set-up / break-down and clean-up
  • Completing minor maintenance and repairs
  • Operating a wide variety of light equipment and machinery
  • Performing a variety of labor intensive work

What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge and proficiency gained through training and experience in the maintenance field
  • A team player who takes pride in their responsibilities and the facilities they oversee
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organization, efficiency and the ability to exercise good judgement
  • Ability to communicate with managers, residents and peers in a positive and effective way
  • Physically able to move a variety of tools / cleaning equipment and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working both inside / outside and in various weather conditions
  • Flexibility to work before and after storms for preparation and clean-up
  • Entry level computer skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license and liability insurance
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical

The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include:

  • Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events.
  • Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices.
  • Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions. (Please note: We will request and review an MVR at the time of hire and on a periodic basis thereafter to ensure that employees maintain a satisfactory driving status.)

You must notify People Operations immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing. CCMC may periodically review motor vehicle reports to ensure compliance with these requirements.
