Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Redmond, WA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $28–$30 per hour (DOE)
Bonus: $500 retention bonus after 90 days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (some evenings/weekends as needed)
Reports To: Facilities Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of community facilities and amenities. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service in a safe and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
• Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests
• Assist with pool maintenance and facility upkeep (CPO preferred)
• Perform general repairs (carpentry, painting, drywall, janitorial)
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
• Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and operational

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Building maintenance/janitorial experience required
• CPO certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Frequent standing, bending, climbing ladders, and manual labor
• Exposure to outdoor conditions, equipment, and chemicals
